Enhancing the traditional Asian tea experience for modern lifestyles and users across generations.

Drinking tea has always been a popular daily activity around the world, but as people's lifestyles continuously evolve, traditional tea-brewing methods face challenges. There are already some products that attempt to address issues in the tea-brewing process. However, since drinking tea is a special experience, merely tackling problems from a functional perspective might not meet users' expectations. Therefore, in this project, I will focus on the relationship between functionality and behavior, aiming to better integrate tea-drinking habits into modern life.

INTERVIEW EXCERPT

INSIGHT

Tea brewing is an experience, so it is important to consider users’ mindsets and existing habits. While a product may solve certain problems, altering the original experience can make it less acceptable to users.

Tea brewing is also a learning process. Users need time and motivation to explore and master different brewing techniques.

Fragmented schedules and current tools do not integrate well into daily routines, making it difficult for users to maintain a consistent tea-drinking habit.

Conclusion

By continuously providing heated water, it reduces boiling frequency and enhances the experience without changing user habits.

The continuous action of tea-making can be broken down into individual actions lasting only seconds, allowing users to easily brew tea during their fragmented time.
